Installing on a wall
Please read this before mounting any product to a wall.
- Attach to your workshop wall using the appropriate number of screws for your mount.
- Hand tighten with a screwdriver until the fit is just snug.
- A power drill can be used to drive the screw, but should not be used to tighten it fully — over-tightening with a drill can crack the mount.
Makita battery buttons
- You'll need a T10H bit to remove the original screws.
- One screw sits under a plastic safety tab. Use a pointed drywall screw, hand-tighten into the plastic while pressing down — the screw tip will catch the Torx screw and push the plastic up. Then pull it out with pliers or nippers.
- We recommend keeping your original buttons safe, just in case.
Milwaukee Packout inserts
These inserts are made with intentionally tight tolerances for a secure fit. A small amount of force may be needed to click both ends together inside the Packout. Every insert is test-fitted in our own Packout before it ships.
